Board of Director Biographies

Roger Bock
Roger joined MCFSC in the fall of 2005.  Since that time Roger has been a driving force behind the growth that MCFSC has experienced.  Being a former Marine and a Vietnam Veteran, Roger had found a channel to give back to those who so proudly serve our country.  Roger spearheads our Mission: Enduring Gratitude program, and has worked tirelessly to grow our donations so that our care package operations have gone from carting donations monthly back and forth to the VFW in Gahanna, to our own headquarters where our packing operations continue to grow and support our Marines and all branches of the United States Military.  While Roger has no children in the Marine Corps, Roger's experiences as a Marine and having served in Vietnam, his contributions have helped countless Marines and their families since he joined MCFSC.  Roger can be reached at rogerbockmcfsc@aol.com

Judy Cruse
Jude has been with MCFSC since 2005.  She serves as the Pen Pal and Mission Thank A Marine Coordinator, with over 200 Marines being in the program.   Her grandson Christopher Rush is the Operation Military Kids liaison, and Chris Logan and Raydon are active in our monthly packing events.   Jude can be reached at jcruse@mcfscoh.org

Jo Howard
Jo joined MCFSC earlier this year, and hit the ground running from the very first meeting.  Jo coordinated the Rockin@Riverwatch events, and works with Member Relations and Events coordination.   Jo can be reached at jhoward@mcfscoh.org.

Rick Isaac
Rick joined MCFSC in 2006 and has been an active member of MCFSC.  Rick, along with Charlie Carter, is our Care Package Coordinator, picking up donations, and preparing the Headquarters for each packing event.  Rick also attends all of our events and works with member relations.    Rick can be reached at: rickisaacmcfsc@aol.com

Pat L
Pat has also been with MCFSC since the days of packing at Michele Gire's house.  She and husband Jim have unfalteringly attended each packing event, and have provided the labels for the care packages since our days at the VFW hall in Gahanna, having been involved with the group since the very beginning in 2003!  Pat stepped up to be our secretary for this year and has done an outstanding job.

Lora Wells
Lora joined MCFSC earlier this year.  She too jumped in immediately.  With her son still in boot camp, Lora stepped up to take over the Grove City chats in April of this year.  She works with the recruiters at the South C Recruiting Station and has a pretty established and growing chat group that meets at Frankie's Talita's Cafe every month in Grove City.    Lora can be reached at:  lwells@mcfscoh.org

Carol Michel
Carol joined MCFSC in the spring of 2004.  She has been active in MCFSC for most all of that time.  Carol has been the behind the scenes "business" end of the organization, serving the majority  of the time as treasurer, compiles and writes the newsletters, and acts as webmaster for our website.  Carol can be reached at momofamarine12@aim.com

Charlie Carter
Charlie and wife Debbie are active members of MCFSC, joining us last year.  Charlie works with Rick to ensure that our facilities and care package operations flow smoothly.  Charlie can be reached at chascarter@sbcglobal.net.
