Mission: Welcome Home a Warrior

Join us at Port Columbus International Airport to welcome

home a member of the US Military!

There is no better feeling for a member of the United States Military than to walk into an airport after a long flight, into the arms of their family and friends.  This is a very special moment, full of pride and emotion--and exhaustion.

It doesn't matter which branch of the service our warriors choose to be a part of, they are all part of a special group of people that are a cut above the rest--they are warriors.  And every warrior deserves to know that their service to our country is acknowledged and appreciated.  For this reason MCFSC is part of a group of non-profit organizations state-wide who believe that even one person standing at the gate to greet that warrior, shake their hand and say "Job Well Done" is a noble, much needed and appreciated act of kindness and patriotism.

This "network" of organizations is banding together to create a database of folks interested in attending welcome home appreciation events.  By signing up on the form below, you will be notified anytime a soldier, sailor, airman or marine is scheduled to come through Port Columbus International Airport.  Some events we will be able to make larger than others, dependent on the time to be able to plan--some we receive less than 24 hours notice.  But even if only one person can be standing at the gate when the warrior comes through, it's an event that this warrior will always carry with them.

We encourage you to sign up to receive these e-mail notices, and if you can, make a trip out to the airport and be part of a growing number of patriotic Americans who believe that acknowledgment of our Armed Forces' sacrifices should not go unnoticed.
